The Golf Club of Asiago, with its wonderful 18 holes, is considered one of the best mountain facilities in Europe. It is situated just outside of Asiago (on the way to Bassano del Grappa) and is lovely integrated in the natural landscape. The course is open from May to October and offers a long and interesting calendar of events, with many national and international champions.
In winter this area transforms into a beautiful field for cross-country skiing.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The golf course of the Asiago Golf Club stretches through meadows and shady pine forests. The hole N5 “Meltar” - a par 5 of 565 meters - has the longest path. The hole N11 “Rosta” spreads through the woods with a slight dogleg to the left and it is certainly the most difficult hole due to the surrounding rocks, the river bed to cross and the green that is a quite small. Fascinating is the 12th hole, “Overview”: from the teeing ground you can enjoy a magnificent view that embraces almost all the course; this is a par 5 of 490 metres that requires great precision, since the green has a large bunker as a barrier which will not allow the player even the slightest mistake. The beautiful “Larch”, a par 4 of 395 metres, has a slight dogleg to the right that will surely bring the players a lot of joy and fun.
