If you walk for just a few minutes from the city centre you will come to the little lake of Lumera, where you can stroll along the shore, fish or just enjoy the scenery.
Take a pedestrian road, fenced with “laste”, an ancient parapet built of Asiago marble in the times of Cimbri, and poplars that give a cool shade and walk through a wide valley to the natural little lake.
You will see along your way a lot of different herbs and maybe, if you are lucky, even meet wild animals.
In the pinewood on the shore of the lake you can take a rest on one of the many wooden benches, there is also a playground for children and a bar where you can eat.
You can also go fishing in the lake.
After seeing the lake, you might want to continue walking through the meadows to the district of San Domenico.
