The Valley of Mills or Covola Valley (which together with Ghiaia Valley forms the most extensive Valley of Val Frenzela) is an area very rich in water; here you can walk along many forest trails that pass through beautiful landscapes and historical places.
Recently, the remains of ancient mills were found in the area; those mills were built around 1500 and were functioning until the beginning of this century. Mills were used for grinding the local grain as well as for producing tannin.
